Cell phones in teenagers
Teenagers have a propensy to have an adiction to mobile phones for many reasons.
The main reason is the social media, they are always connected to the Internet, therefore creating an adiction sometimes. Currently, teenagers usually have a mobile phone around 9 or 10 years, getting used to handle phones easily. This also increase cyberbulliyng, which is a real and a serious problem nowadays. In fact, bullying has been raising its percentage since 2011, coinciding with the beginning of smartphone and social media era. Finally, teenagers usually have an adiction to mobiles phone thanks to social media, which increase bullying, likewise school enviroment is becoming quite tense.
We have other reasons, like mobile games, which are in their peak. In addition, introvert teenagers have more posibilities to have an adiction to mobile phones, the reason is that they are more comfortable texting in a mobile than talking face-to-face, though there are some mental health hospitals that are starting to create treatments in order to solve this problem-
In conclusion, most of teenagers have a mobile adiction thanks to the social media, which increase cyberbullying, and other reasons like mobile games; but mental care hospitals are starting to take the bull by the horns
